Shequita Jones - Program Clinical Director at Honor Your Emotions

Program Clinical Director

Children and teens go through so many changes and transitions.

Sometimes, it feels like you’re with a different person every day or dealing with a stranger in your own home.

One day, you think things are finally heading in the right direction. The next day, it feels worse than it’s ever been!

So let me help you out.

I’m Shequita Jones, a Program Clinical Director (License # 76045) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, who specializes in counseling with children and teens in Dublin, CA.

I specialize in helping families and teens who need help navigating worries, anxiety, sadness, depression, school stress, social struggles, bullying, self-esteem and the many other issues that can transform your once happy, child teen into a screaming, moody, rebellious, isolative, teen who seems to be falling apart.

I’ll work with you to better understand your teen.

I’ll help you understand why you need to take care of yourself and the people you love. I’ll also teach your child how to develop a plan, strategize, and utilize skills they need to navigate their lives.

Seeing individuals get solid on who they are, live out their values, access the strong person they are deep down, and learn how to navigate relationships in healthy ways is my favorite part of my job.

Observing how it impacts you, your teen, your family when there’s less stress, more togetherness, and things flow peacefully is the benefit. I truly LOVE my job!

It’s hard figuring out who you can trust to help during this difficult journey and where to start.

During this time, we can talk about whether counseling makes sense for you right now, and you can also get a sense of me and how I can help you.

And, if you also struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, social struggles, it can feel like a LOT to manage and work through.

I can help you navigate this process with more confidence, ease, and find what works for you to stay mentally healthy and happy.
